REQUESTS FOR A HEARING SUBMITTED WITH RESPECT TO THE NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE, AND NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY FOR HEARING, FOR SEABROOK STATION UNIT 1, DOCKET NO. 50-443-LR
The Office of the Secretary received via E-Filing two requests for a hearing and petitions to intervene. The first is a joint filing by Beyond Nuclear, Seacoast Anti-Pollution League, and New Hampshire Sierra Club. The second is a filing by Friends of the Coast/New England Coalition. The requests were submitted in response to a notice issued by the NRC staff that provided an opportunity for a hearing on renewal of the operating license which authorizes NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC to operate the Seabrook Station Unit 1. The notice was published in the Federal Register at 75 Fed. Reg. 42462, July 21, 2010.
In ADAMS, the first request can be found as a package under accession number ML102930267. The second request can be found as a package under accession number ML102940545. Both requests are also located on the Electronic Hearing Docket
These hearing requests are being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R. §2.346(i). This referral is being served on the E-Filing service list for the Seabrook Station Unit 1 proceeding as well as those on the cc: list below.
