Helen:
As a result of your request (e-mail below), we have identified Mr. Janak Raval as the reviewer who would support the conference call(s) requested by you. Please propose 1 or 2 date/time choices for the call(s). If you deem it necessary to send us some documents to facilitate the discussion, you may do so at your own discretion and under the provisions of NRR Office Instruction COM-203.
I have opened the above TAC numbers for the staff to charge time on this effort (i.e., pre-application discussion only). When you formally submit applications for amendment we will open new TAC numbers to cover the work.
I plan to put this e-mail, including your e-mail below, into ADAMS and the public domain. Please let me know if your e-mail contains any information that should be withheld from public disclosure. Thanks.

Subject:
Telecon to discuss two upcoming LARs Hi Peter, I would like to have pre-submittal discussions on two License Amendment Requests that we are developing and anticipate submitting in April.
The following are brief descriptions of the LARs:
- Revise the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirement 3.6.13.5 for the divider barrier seal surveillance. The language of the TS SR is being changed to allow for some margin of bypass (within the analysis limits) if the seal itself or the seal hardware has any identified deficiencies.
The current surveillance wording does not allow for any deficiencies even if functionality is not impacted. Additionally, adding a Note to the LCO, for TS 3.6.13, for CEQ fan dampers and valves similar to the existing Note for personnel hatches and add the CEQ fan dampers and valves to Action A. These changes will also have revised wording in the Bases to support them.
- Revise Technical Specification 5.5.9, Ventilation Filter Testing Program, to allow a lower limit of 97.5% efficiency of the charcoal filter. Currently the required efficiency is 99%.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is a busy day for everyone as we will be having an NRC Evaluated Emergency Preparedness Exercise. Wednesday and Thursday are wide open.
Please let me know what would work best for you.Two separate discussions might be better if it is possible to have your technical folks to participate.
