Summary of call on 04/20/2011 relating to license amendment request for TSTF-425, Hatch Jack, This email is a brief summary of our conversation this morning among you, Ravi Grover, and me: In your license amendment request, dated October 29, 2010 NL-10-0271 (ADAMS accession no. ML103140510) the Hatch Unit 2 Technical Specification (TS) mark-up and cleaned typed page for SR 3.3.1.1.16 (page 164 and 448 in the ADAMS document, Hatch Unit 2 TS page 3.3-
- 6) contained a NOTE that still referenced the "STAGGERED TEST BASIS" frequency. However, the "STAGGERED TEST BASIS" definition has been removed as part of the TSTF-425 effort (page 151 and 435 in the ADAMS document, Hatch Unit 2 TS page 1.1-5).
It is our (NRC staff) understanding that you have agreed to look into the appropriate wording for this NOTE, and to review the bases for similar references. We would then anticipate a supplement containing the new mark-up and clean TS pages for the NOTE and an "information only" copy of any affected TS Bases pages.
