MARCH 8, 2017, GENERIC FUNDAMENTALS EXAMINATION RESULTS FOR J. A. FITZPATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT (COVER LETTER PUBLICLY AVAILABLE, ENCLOSURES WITHHELD FROM PUBLIC)
Dear Mr. Reno:
On March 8, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) administered the generic fundamentals examination (GFE) section of the written operator licensing examination to two employees at your facility and one passed. A passing grade is 80 percent or better. Enclosed with this letter is a copy of the BWR examination, including answer key, the grading results for your facility, and copies of the individual answer sheets for of your employees. Please forward the results to the individuals along with the copies of their respective answer sheets.
The NRC will also update its GFE website, https://www.nrc.gov/reactors/operator-licensing/generic-fundamentals-examinations/past-exams.html after administration of the second subsequent GFE. This current GFE exam should be posted shortly after March 2018. If you have any questions concerning the examination, please contact me at 610-337-5306.
