Monticello Community Center Mississippi Room 505 Walnut Street Monticello, MN 55362 PURPOSE:

The NRC received an application from Nuclear Management Company, LLC dated March 16, 2005 for the renewal of the operating license for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant. The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC staff to provide information describing the license renewal process and how the public can participate. The agenda for the meeting is attached. Information on the license renewal process is available at http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/operating/ licensing/renewal.html, the NRCs Web site.

This is a Category 3 Meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by providing comments and asking questions throughout the meeting.
