(1) Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC) Letter Dated July 28, 2006, Transmitting Commitment Status Update In Reference (1) NMC submitted an Engineering Design Control Commitment Status Update, which provided a revised completion schedule for the milestones associated with the safety-related calculation project.
These milestones involved the completion of electrical, mechanical and instrumentation and control (I&C) calculations, as well as performance of the final effectiveness review by the end of 2007.
Based on the complexity of some of the calculations and progress to date, NMC anticipates that the calculation reconstitution project will now complete in 2008, with an effectiveness review of the project to be conducted in 2008. NMC will continue to provide updates to this schedule until completion of the project.
