SUBJECT:
Final Report on the Re-Evaluation of Indian Point Unit 2 Tube Fatigue In response to the NRC's request for an re-evaluation of the anti-vibration bar positions and associated flow peaking factors for all steam generators evaluated prior to 1989, this letter transmits a copy of the following documents:
(a) WCAP-12687, Indian Point Unit 2 Steam Generator Tube Fatigue Re-Evaluation (Proprietary)
(b) WCAP-12688, Indian Point Unit 2 Steam Generator Tube Fatigue Re-Evaluation (Non-Proprietary)
Also enclosed are a Westinghouse authorization letter, CAW-90-061, Proprietary Information Notice, accompanying Affidavit, and Copyright Notice.
Since proprietary claims as to Item (a) are asserted by Westinghouse Electric Corporation, those claims are supported by an affidavit signed by Westinghouse.
The affidavit sets forth the basis on which Westinghouse claims that the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission, and addresses the considerations listed in 10 CFR Section 2.790(b)(4). Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that Item (a), or in the alternative such portions of Item (a) as the Commission determines to be protected by 10 CFR Section 2.790 as proprietary to Westinghouse, be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the Commission's regulations.
Correspondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of the application for withholding or the supporting Westinghouse Affidavit should refer to CAW-90-061 and should be addressed to R.A. Wiesemann, Manager of Regulatory & Legislative Affairs, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, P.O.
