SUBJECT:
TEXAS ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT STATION, TEXAS A & M UNIVERSITY, NRC SECURITY-RELATED INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-128/2010-202
Dear Dr. Hall:
On November 16-18, 2010, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission)
conducted an inspection at your Nuclear Science Center TRIGA Research Reactor Facility. The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on November 18, 2010, with Dr. W. D. Reece, Director of the Nuclear Science Center, and other members of your staff.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations, compliance with the conditions of your license, and implementation of certain compensatory measures. The inspectors reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 2.390 Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide document access and management system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room). However, because of the security-related items contained in the enclosure, and in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d), a copy of this letter=s enclosure will not be available for public inspection.
