A endix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION American Electric Power Service Corporation Indiana and Michigan Power Company Docket No. 50-315 Based on the inspection conducted on June 13-15, 1979, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as noted below.
The following item is an infraction.
Environmental Technical Specification 2.2.1.2 requires that the total chlorine residual in the plant discharge to the lake shall not exceed O.l ppm (at any time) when the direct monitoring method (ETS 2.2.1.3) is used.
Contrary to the above requirement, the total chlorine residual measured in the plant discharge on September 23, 1978 at 1015 hours0.0117 days <br />0.282 hours <br />0.00168 weeks <br />3.862075e-4 months <br /> was 0.12 ppm.
