Dear Mr. Rader:

This is in response to your letter of March 24, 1981. The list of technical documents provided you by letter of March 16, 1981 does not contain documents referring to operations of the licensees listed in U.S. Ecology's Interrogatory 3(b). The referenced list furthermore does not contain documents referring to entities listed in U.S. Ecology's requests 16 and 17. The referenced list concerns only documents contained in Docket No. 27-39.

In accordance with the NRC Staff's agreement to make a " reasonable search of pertinent Comission files and records and ask knowledgeable personnel in the Commission for information responsive to all of U.S. Ecology's requests" (Licensing Board Order of February 25, 1981, at page 2), the Staff has deter-mined that the information sought by U.S. Ecology's requests is located in the Willste Building in files in Room 432, in Room 683 and in Room 396.

Please let us know when you would like to conduct a search of these documents and we will make the necessary arrangements.
