e Mr. Nick C. Eggemeyer was a'previously licensedeoperator.at
-Arkansas Nuclear One.
License Number --- OP-6273 Docket' Number
--- 55-9029-p Facility. Docket Number --- 50-313 i
I Mr.=Eggemeyer functioned as an Auxiliary Operator from L1 02/81 to 03/83.. He performed licensed Reactor-Operator b'
duties:in the Control. Room 1from 03/83 to 03/84,- During.
A this time.in the Control Room, he received fourteen 1(14)~
b weeks 1SRO training (11/83-to 3/84) with the on-duty-Shift' Supervisor.'
During these time frames he participated-bi in several'startups and shutdowns including refueling.
Mr.. Stanley P.. Burnett was a previously licensed Senior-
-Reactor Operator:at Wolf Creek Generating Station.
License Number --- SOP-43082 s
Docket Number- --- 55-40072.
t Facility ~ Docket-Number.--- 50-482 i
Mr. Burnett functioned as a non-licensed' Reactor Operator during the startup and construction phase of WCGS from
.11/80 to 6/84. HHe performed licensed Reactor Operator duties in the Control Room from 8/84 to 4/86.
During these time frames he participated in the: fueling and startup of WCGS.
Based on the previous experience of-Mr. Eggemeyer and Mr. Burnett, CPSES has credited to-them one hundred-thirty (130) days hot operating experience, one (1) startup and one-(l) shutdown.
B.
Attachment'2 and 4 Mr. Raul-Martinez is currently off-site completing his six weeks hot participation experience.

'Y C. -and 4 14r. Daskam has been unable to complete his shutdown-L experience.
During his many attempts the plants did not shutdown on schedule or they tripped prior to the shutdown date.
d While CPSES is still attempting to obtain the required shutdown.for Mr. Daskam, we bolleve the shutdown experience for this crew is acceptable based on the shutdown experience of the Unit Supervisors.
Furthermore, the-CPSES " Hot Participation Experience Program" required both startups and. shutdowns to include modes one.through five, with a minimum of modes two and three being observed.
Mr. Daskam although not meeting this specific requirement, participated in several shutdowns due.to reactor trips.
D.
Attachments-1, 2,'and 4 The Industry Working Group proposal accepted by-Generic Letter 84-16, only requires six weeks of the required'six months " hot participation" experience to be at greater than twenty percent power.
CPSES, in going a step further is taking credit only for those days when power wasLgreater than twenty percent in. calculating the six months (minimum of one hundred-twenty days).
This results in significantly more " power operations" experience being attained.
Additionally, credit was only
-taken in the time calculation'for eight hours per day, 5 days per week. -This also resulted in operators.having more experience than that which is indicated in the tables.
