Subj ect: Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 NUREG 0737, Item II. K.3.18 The purpose of this letter is to inform you of our position on NUREG item II.K.3.18, ADS Actuation. As stated in our correspondence of July 13, 1982, the BWR Owners Group had taken this item under reevaluation. The results of thi s reevaluation concluded that the current ADS initiation logic, with the implementation of the BWR Emergency Procedure Guidelines, is adequate for all design basis events which require Reactor Pressure Vessel depressurization to maintain adequate core cooling. By submission of this correspondence, we endorse the BWR Owners Group positions for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, and, therefore, plan no modifications.
