Materials Licensing:

The University ofMichigan (U-M) requeststo amend NRC Materials License No. SNM-179, which is scheduled to expire on October31, 2024. Specifically, U-M is asking NRC to extendthe term of the license by an additional five (5)years from thecurrent 10-year term,in accordance with the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards memorandum,Procedure for Implementing the 15 Year Materials License Term (August 18, 2017, ML17200D112).

Additionally, the Chairperson of the Radiation Policy Committee is now Peter J. H. Scott, Ph.D.

His appointment letter is attached.
