Thank you for your letter of May 6,1986, in response to our letter and the
attached Notice of Violation dated April 7, 1986. As a result of our review,
we find that additional information, as discussed with your Mr. Andy Scoggins
(during a telephone call on May 20,1986) is needed. Please confirm that the
change to paragraph 4.3 of the Interim Fuel Storage Plan states that the
security shift supervisor and the assistant security shift supervisor have the
authority to direct the physical protection activities of the security
organization.
Please provide the supplemental information within 20 days of the date of this
letter.
We have reviewed your reply to the second violation (8602-02) and find it
responsive to the concerns raised in our Notice of Violation. We will review
the implementation of your corrective actions during a future inspection to
determine that full compliance has been achieved and will be maintained.
