FERMI-2 NUCLEAR POWER FACILITY, SUBMITTAL OF REVISION 2 TO THE FERMI-2 UPDATED FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT AND THE ANNUAL 10CFR50,59 SAFETY EVALUATION
SUMMARY
REPORT (TAC NO. 71235)
The NRC has 1eceived your March 17, 1989 submittal of Revision 2 to the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) for Fermi-2 and the annual Safety Evaluation Summary Report.
During a future site visit, NRR staff would be interested in inspecting two of the design changes in the annual Safety Evaluation Summary Report. We would like to inspect the design changes and review the design packages and any calculations associated with the package. The two design changes that we have selected for review are:
(1) Replacement of the Reactor Water Cleanup System Holdup Line (Safety Evaluation No. 86-0255, Implementation Document No. EPP 6671, System No. G33-00); and (2) Relocated Control Rod Drive Minimum Flow Line (Safety Evaluation No. 86-0250, Implementation Document No. EDP d 6736,SystemNo.C1100).
We will work with your staff to select a date for this inspection effort.
This letter completes NPC action on TAC NO. 71235.
