STATUS OF UMTRA VICINITY PROPERTY ACTIVITIES THROUGH MARCH 31, 1986 Introduction f'

y The attached table provides the vicinity property cumulative status by designated site through March 31, 1986.

Site-Specific Reports Canonsburg The site is 99 percent complete and has ceased operations until Spring, at which time all remaining vicinity properties will be completed.

Salt Lake City The engineering work on the outstanding REAs is ahead of schedule. To suppress transportation costs to Clive, all possible cleanup that can be accomplished at the current funding level will occur in FY 86.

Grand Junction All work is proceeding as scheduled for the fiscal year.

No remedial action 'is scheduled for the first quarter of 1986 Edgemont Remedial actions are scheduled to commence in May, 1986. The Governor's*

signature is expected to occur in March, on Bill No. 274, which will provide funds to complete all work in Edgemont.
