During April 18-20, 1988. NRC administered examinations to employees of your company who had applied f or licenses to operate your AN02 facility.

At the conclusion of the written examinations, the examination keys were  :

provided to facility staff personnel. Based upon the initial number  !

of applicants, the number of candidates actually examined, and the performance 1

of those candidates, it appears that an extensive and thorough screening process was utilized by the AN02 Training Department, with only the candidates .

J having a high probability of successfully completing the examination  !

being tested. Examination results have been discussed with AN02 Training  ;

Department staff. ,
