Issuance of Safety Evaluation Report (Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2)
Enclosed for review by the Committee are thirteen copies of the Safety Evaluation Report prepared by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation in the matter of the application f eled by Georgia Power Company, et al., for licenses to operate the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units'I and 2.
At this time, 14 issues remain outstanding. These issues are identified in Section 1.7 of the'SER. We anticipate that several of these will be resolved prior to the August 1985 ACRS meeting. We will require the resolution of all open items prior to a decision on issuance of operating licenses.
