s
- The engine start for the purpose of this surveillance test may be preceded by an engine prelube period and/or other warmup procedures recommended by the manufacturer so that mechanical stress and wear on the engine is minimized.
i i This SR is not applicable until return to Mode 4 from the Unit 3 Cycle 9 Refueling Outage. Until that time the following SR is applicable:
Within 5 minutes after completing the 24-hour test, simulate a loss of offsite power by itself, and verify the diesel starts on the auto-start signal, energizes the emergency busses with permanently connected loads within 10 seconds and operates for greater than or equal to 5 minutes while its generator is loaded with the permanently connected loads. After energization, the steady state voltage and frequency of the emergency busses shall be maintained at 4360 1 436 volts and 60 1 1.2 Hz during this test.
