Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Doeket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request No.115 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.59 and 10 CFR 50.90, GPU Nuclear Corporation, operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16, requests an amendment to Appendix A of that license.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.30, three signed originals and fif ty-seven copies of Technical Specification Change Request No.115 are enclosed.
The subject Technical Specification Change Request involves Section 3.1, Table 3.1.1, Item H, and Section 3.8 (the addition of specifications 3.8.E and 3.8.F) and its corresponding bases. These specifications pertain to the operability of the isolation condenser isolation valves and are proposed to (1) clarify the existing specifications and, (2) permit an acceptable out of service time for applicable isolation condenser isolation valves to allow, primarily, for the performance of routine valve maintenance while maintaining the af fected isolation condenser operable to perform its intended function.
This change request has been reviewed and approved by the Plant Operations Review Committee and an Independent Safety Review Group in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek Technical Specifications.
We have determined that this submittal is Class III per 10 CFR 170.22 and j a filing fee of $4000 is remitted.
