Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Auxiliary Building Equipment Hatch Removed to Transport Neutron Sources into Containment LER 83-025/03 L-0 AECM-83/0115 On January 24, 1983, while in cold shutdo m, the Auxiliary Building equipment hatch on elevation 166 feet was remoied to allow transport of neutron sources into the containment. The plag is classified as a fire barrier under Technical Specification 3.7.7. A Limiting Condition of Operation was established and an hourly fire watch was initiated in accordance with Technical Specification 3.7.7. The c. vent is reported pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.13.b. Attached is LER 83-025/03 L-0.
