SUBJECT: UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, DAVIS/MCCLELLAN NUCLEAR RESEARCH CENTER - NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ROUTINE INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-607/2015-203

From October 19-22, 2015, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an inspection at the University of California, Davis/McClellan Nuclear Research Center (Inspection Report No. 50-607/2015-203). The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on October 22, 2015, with Mr. Walter Steingass, Reactor Supervisor.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety and compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified. No response to this letter is required.
