SUBJECT: TURKEY POINT NUCLEAR PLANT - NRC SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT05000250/2006014 AND 05000251/2006014

Dear Mr. Stall:

On July 21, 2006, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a ConfirmatoryAction Letter (CAL) follow-up inspection at your Turkey Point facility. The enclosed report documents the inspection findings, which were discussed on July 21, 2006, with Mr. T. Jones, Site Vice President and other members of your staff. An additional exit meeting was also conducted on August 3, 2006, with Mr. G. Warner and other members of your staff.The purpose of this inspection was to verify the completion of items in your security issuesaction plan as confirmed with you in CAL 2-06-001, dated February 17, 2006, and CAL 2-06-

002, dated March 3, 2006. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified.The enclosure contains Sensitive Unclassified Information and its disclosure to unauthorizedindividuals could present a security vulnerability. Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1), this letter and its enclosure will not be made available electronically for publicinspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRC's document systems (ADAMS)
