MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - PUBLIC MEETING BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT, DOCKET NOS. 50-259, 50-260 AND 50-296
Dear Mr. Campbell:
This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. Russ Godwin of your staff and Mr. Thierry Ross on December 11, 2008, concerning a Category 1 meeting which has been scheduled for January 6, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. (EST). The meeting notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed. The purpose of the meeting, scheduled at our request, is to discuss the results from the NRC=s Inspection Procedure 95002 inspection of your Browns Ferry facility.
During the meeting we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, if you so desire, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information identified in the 95002 inspection and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
