Enclosed is the Arizona Public Service Company (APS) response to the Request for Additional Information referenced above. On July 22, 2014, APS contacted the U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to request an extension of the 60 day due date. On July 23, 2014, NRC Project Manager, Shane Sandal, verbally authorized an extension to August 15, 2014.

No commitments are being made to the NRC by this letter.

The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 pf the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
