ACCEPTANCE OF HIGHWAY ROUTE RE-APPROVAL APPLICATION (NRC ROUTE NO. 182C) ROUTE: UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI, COLUMBIA, MISSOURI TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY SAVANNAH RIVER SITE, AIKEN, SOUTH CAROLINA, DOCKET NUMBER: 50-186
Dear Mr. Kutikkad:
On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), I would like to inform you that the content of the information in the route application for transportation of spent nuclear fuel, dated July 28, 2016, has been determined to be complete. The NRC is currently conducting a detailed review of the application and the ability of the proposed route to meet the applicable regulatory requirements. We will provide results of our review of the application within 45 days of the date of this letter. To facilitate our review, please do not submit any changes or supplements to this application, except in response to a request for additional information.
