Babcock. & Wilcox Co. , our NSSS supplier, has reouested applicaticn of ASME Ccde C3se N-232 to four atmospncric cumo valves being supplied for our WN; l plant. The Supply System has reviewed the applicacility of toe code case to these valves wqicn are being manufactured for 354 by Control
- omocnents, Inc. (CCI).
Based on this review, tne Supply System concurs witn tne apolication of the code case to these valves and requests NRC 3pproval of the code case for this speci fic application.
CCI purchased material for the valves from a Yaterial Supplier.
When:nis material was received, it did not include certification by the"aterial vanufacturer tc their cuality program.
Thus, application of tne code case 1: recuired.
CCI has provided 3 Certificate of Conformance whicn certifies that tne vaives are in ccmoliance witn tre requirements of the code case.
A:ocy of nis certificate is attached for your review.
