Union Negotiations 8/24/ -Vermont Yankee IBEW Local 300 tentatively approves a New Contract The IBEW Local 300 -Unit 8 negotiating team at Entergy Vermont Yankee voted to tentatively approve a new union contract late today, Friday August 2 4 t."Both sides worked hard to reach a fair, equitable agreement," said General Manager of Plant Operations Bill Maguire. The members of the union will vote on the tentative agreement on Monday, August 2 7 th."The success of Vermont Yankee is the result of good teamwork and a strong foundation of trust and respect," said Maguire. "As we move forward, we will further reinforce the partnership between Entergy Vermont Yankee management and the IBEW.
