Dear Mr. Reddemann:
This refers to an investigation conducted by the NRC's Office of Investigations regarding activities at Columbia Generating Station. T he Office of Investigations in i tiated the investigation to determine whether a maintenance program specialist emp l oyed at Co l umbia Generating Station was subjected to employment discrimination by Columbia Generating Station's personnel for raising safety concerns. Based on the evidence developed during the investigation , testimony , and document reviews , the alleged discrimination was determined not to be substantiated.
The NRC plans no further action related to the discrimination aspect of this allegation and considers this investigation closed. In accordance with 1 0 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC's Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
