SUBJECT:
WATTS BAR NUCLEAR PLANT, UNIT 1 - CORRECTED TECHNICALSPECIFICATION PAGE FOR AMENDMENT NO. 66 REGARDING THE INSERVICE TESTING PROGRAM (TAC NO. MD2380)
(TS-06-04)
Dear Mr. Singer:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Amendment No. 66 to Facility OperatingLicense No. NPF-90 for the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Unit 1, on December 18, 2006. This amendment consisted of changes to the technical specifications (TSs) in response to yourapplication dated June 16, 2006. Among other changes, the amendment revised TS Section 5.7.2.11, "Inservice Testing Program", consistent with TS Task Force Traveler 279, Revision 0, "Remove 'applicable supports' from Inservice Testing Program," to remove reference to "applicable supports" from the IST program. Subsequent to issuance, it was discovered that the words "and applicable supports" had notbeen deleted from the revised TS page, as intended. Enclosed is a corrected TS Page 5.0-14.
Please replace the page issued on December 18, 2006, with the enclosed. This merely corrects an administrative error and does not affect the technical content of Amendment No. 66 and its associated safety evaluation.
Sincerely,/RA/Brendan T. Moroney, Project ManagerPlant Licensing Branch II-2 Division of Operating Reactor Licensing Office of Nuclear Reactor RegulationDocket No. 50-390
