OF THE JANUARY 24, 2007, PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSSFENOC FLEET PERFORMANCEOn January 24, 2007, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting at theFour Points By Sheraton Akron West, Fairview, Ohio. The meeting was between NRC Regions I and III, and FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) management todiscuss fleet performance. The meeting notice and licensee presentation can be found in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) as ML063390281 and ML070260353, respectively. A list of principal NRC and licensee meeting participants can befound in the attached Enclosure.The NRC began the meeting with a brief introduction, then FENOC management discussedindividual plant performance, their fleet-wide approach to sustaining performanceimprovements, and improving site performance at the Beaver Valley, Davis-Besse, and Perry Nuclear Power Plants.
