SUMMARY
OF THE OCTOBER 7, 2003, PUBLIC MEETINGS TO DISCUSS THE MANUAL CHAPTER 0350 PROCESS AT DAVIS-BESSE On October 7, 2003, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held two public meetings at the Camp Perry Clubhouse in Port Clinton, Ohio. The first meeting was between the NRC Davis-Besse Oversight Panel and FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) to discuss recent inspection results and the licensees Return to Service Plan for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. The meeting notice, transcript, NRC Handout including the agenda, and the FENOC presentation can be found in ADAMS as ML032671130, ML033360405, ML032890584, and ML032830235; respectively. A list of NRC and licensee meeting participants can be found in the attached Enclosure.
The second meeting was between the NRC and members of the public. During the meeting, the NRC summarized the discussion from the earlier meeting between the NRC and FENOC.
