I I INTRODUOTION I Technical Specification 6,6,C for the Surry Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 states:

I 11 Inservice Inspection Reports I Notification shall be made to the Director, Region II Directorate of Regulatory Operations at least 60 days before scheduled refueling periods.

I This notification shall include the details of the inservice inspection planned for such period, including a detailed schedule identifying specific I welds to be inspected and identifying the specific techniques to be employed."

I Technical Specificatton 4,2 identifies the systems and components which shall be included in the inservice inspection program. These requirements are supple-I mented by Technical Specification 4.15 which provides for the inservice inspection of high energy lines ~utside of the containment, I The inservice inspection program shall be performed in accordance with the I requirements of Section XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Summer 1972 Addenda.

I The only item which will.be inspected to satisfy inservice inspection at this refueling outage will be Technical Specification item Number 7.2, under I Miscellaneous Inspections, The inspection area is "Low Head SIS piping located I in valve pit." 100% of piping will be inspected by the visual method.

Included herein are appropriate isometric drawings of the low head piping I located in the valve pit.
