Farley Nuclear Plant - Unit 1 l Inservice Insnection Renort i Ladies and Gentlemen: 4 Pursuant to Ge requirements of 10 CFR 50.55a(g) and 10 CFR 50.36, Southern Nuclear Operatag Company hereby submits the Farley Nuclear Plant Unit 1, Interval 2, Period 3, Outage 3 Inservice Inspection Report (Enclosure 1) and the Interval 3, Period 1, Outage 1 Inservice Inspection Report (Enclosure 2). Dese reports describe and summarize the inservice inspection activities performed during the Unit I fiAccoth refneling outage. Note that SNC had advised NRC by letter dated hy-M 18,1998 that activities pufu...d during this outage would serve to fulfill certain requirements of both the second and third Inservice Inspection Intervals. Dese activities were completed December 26,1998. Included in Enclosure 2 are the results of the steam p.;ar eddy current testing conducted during this outage as required by 10 CFR 50.55a(g) and Section 4.4.6.5.b of the Farley Nuclear Plant Unit 1 Technical Specifications. A summary of these results may be found in Tab B of Enclosurc 2.
