,' 01/20/38 leak in the chell cide. Invectigations indicates the leakage to te a c=all pin hole poposity in the weld repairc made early in December 1987. The unit was re-turned to service after repairo were cade.

Chould the pu=p seal deteriorate further, the pump will have to be recoved from cervice and icolated.

Power was reduced to remove #1 reactor thru recire pump from cervice. The pump ceal 01/31/88 has deteriorated to the extent that the unidentified leak rate required the pumps removal from cervice. The plant sill be operated with a one Icop operation until repairc can be made.
