Dear Mr. Denise:
This letter provides the final report submitted pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e) concerning Reactor Coolant System Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD)
Calibration Data at Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS). This matter was initially reported on August 1, 1984 with supplemental information provided in the Reference.
Investigation of the calibration discrepancies described in the Reference has resulted in a revision to the RTD manufacturer's (RdF) calibration procedures. This would allow for recalibration of the RTDs at RdF's facility. However, due to some unrelated physical damage to the WCGS RTDs, all RCS RTDs are being replaced or refurbished. These units will be calibrated per the revised RdF calibration procedure. The aforementioned corrective actions will be completed prior to fuel load.
