Description:
Cooling Tower Blowdown Outfall No: 800173 Prior to Dilution Parameter: Sulfate Parameter No: 00945
- 1. Date of Incident: July 31, 1979
- 2. Identification of specific effluent limitation exceeded: Weekly Sampling for Sulfate
- 3. Description of Incident: The weekly sampling and analysis for sulfate in the cooling tower blowdown was not performed during July 1979.
- 4. Apparent Cause: Technician er:-or.
- 5. If a.ot immediately corrected, the anticipated time the condition is expected to continue: NA
- 6. Corrective Action - The following corrective action.was taken or will be-

taken to reduce, eliminate and prevent. recurrence: An analysis- for sulfate was performed on a composite sample repre_senting the blowdown effluent. This value was reported on the MOR. A schedule of required sampling will be reviewed with appropriate persons to insure all sampling and analysis will be performed.
