On September 2, 2016, at 4:08 a.m., (all times CDT) while operating at full power, control room operators calculated unidentified reactor coolant system leakage of 1.358 gallons per minute, in excess of the Technical Specification 3.4.13 limit of 1 gallon per minute. At 10:00 a.m. Wolf Creek Generating Station commenced a reactor shutdown to comply with the Technical Specification.
