Regarding Recommendations 2.1, 2.3, and 9.3,of the Near-Term Task Force Review of Insights from the Fukushima Dai-ichiAccident, dated March 12, 2012In Reference 1, Exelon Generation

Company, LLC (EGC) provided the LaSalle County Station,Units 1 and 2 seismic walkdown reports in accordance with the NRC Request for Information (Reference 2). The LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2 seismic walkdown reports verifycurrent plant configuration with current licensing basis, and verify the adequacies of monitoring and maintenance procedures.

In Table E-1 of Enclosure 2 of Reference 1, EGC provided thelist of the seven (7) LaSalle County Station Unit 2 items that were deferred due toinaccessibility.

EGC committed to complete the walkdown inspection of these seven (7) itemsduring the L2R14 Refueling Outage (Spring 2013). In Table E-2 of Enclosure 2 of Reference 1,EGC provided the list of the twenty-three (23) LaSalle County Station Unit 2 electrical cabinetsthat required supplemental inspections for which five (5) were completed.

EGC committed tocomplete the remaining eighteen (18) supplemental inspections of these electrical cabinets byL2R15 Refueling Outage (Spring 2015).

LetterNTTF Recommendation 2.3: SeismicJune 19, 2013Page 2This letter provides the results of the completed walkdown inspections performed for the seven(7) LaSalle County Station Unit 2 items identified in Table E-1 of Enclosure 2 of Reference 1.These inspections were completed during the L2R14 Refueling Outage (Spring 2013).Additionally, this letter provides the supplemental internal inspection updates on the eighteen(18) remaining LaSalle County Station Unit 2 electrical cabinets identified in Table E-2 ofEnclosure 2 of Reference 1, with thirteen (13) items completed.

Five (5) supplemental internalelectrical cabinet inspections remain for LaSalle County Station Unit 2.No conditions were identified during the walkdowns that required entry into the corrective actionprogram.No degraded, nonconforming, or unanalyzed conditions that required either immediate or followup actions were identified.

Enclosure 1 to this letter provides the updated LaSalle County Station Unit 2 Seismic WalkdownReport incorporating the results of the completed walkdowns of the seven (7) LaSalle CountyStation Unit 2 items identified in Table E-1 of Enclosure 2 of Reference 1, and the results ofthirteen (13) completed supplemental internal electrical cabinet inspections identified in Table E-2 of Enclosure 2 of Reference

1. This report completes Regulatory Commitment No. 2contained in Reference

1. The remaining five (5) supplemental internal electrical cabinetinspections for LaSalle County Station Unit 2 are listed in Table AE-2 of Enclosure 1 of thisletter and will be inspected as previously committed.

This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.
