Dear Mr. Skaggs:

This refers to the meeting conducted at our request at the Comfort Inn Hotel in Athens, TN on April 9, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. The meeting's purpose was to provide opportunities to discuss the annual assessment of the Watts Bar Nuclear Unit 2 Construction Project with the public.

On April 9, 2014, the NRC's Chief of Construction Projects Branch 3, and the Resident Inspectors, held a Category 3 meeting that was attended by members of the public and TVA employees. This Category 3 public meeting provided an informative presentation to engage the public in a discussion of the NRC's annual assessm ent of the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Unit 2 Construction Project for the period from January 1 through December 31, 2013. The list of attendees (Enclosure 1) and the presentation material used for discussions (Enclosure 2) are attached to this letter.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document
