The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Investigations has closed the subject case regarding post-maintenance testing of the motor-driven auxiliary feedwater system at H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant. The NRC determined that there was no information to indicate that management refused to collect relevant data so that the site would not have to enter a 24-hour limiting condition for operation action statement if the proposed test revealed a common cause. We plan no further action with regard to this specific matter. However, a finding was documented in Inspection Report 05000261/2016001, regarding the event related to this matter. Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.
