I am a Senior Project manager in the NRC Division of Operating Reactor Licensing and I am managing the review of the November 23, 2016, Watts Bar Unit 2 licensing amendment request to extend intervals for certain surveillance requirements (CAC No. MF8869). The licensee's submittal is available in ADAMS under Accession No. ML16333A250. The NRC is finalizing the related license amendment and, Per 10 CFR 50.91(b), 10 CFR 50.91(b)(3) and (b)(4), I am notifying you of the proposed issuance.

The amendment was noticed in the Federal Register on January 17, 2017 (82 FR 4932). See the attachment to this email. No public comments were received.
