Theinspection wasconducted inaccor-dancewithC-ETestProcedure Nos.00000-SIS-005, RevisionOland00000-ESS-070,Revision02,andsatisfied therequirements oftheSt.LuciePlantTechnical Specification 3/44-5andtheA'SMEBoilerandPressureVesselCode,SectionZI,1974EditionthroughtheSummer1976Addenda.Theinspection programconsisted ofmulti-frequency testingforthedetection oftubewallanomalies andtheassessment oftubedentingwithbothdatabeingtakensimultaneously withonepassof-.theeddycurrentprobethroughthetube.25KHztestingforsludgeaccumulation onthesecondary sideof.thehotsidetubesheetswascarriedout.Selection oftubestobeexaminedwasbasedonanevaluation ofwhere,inthetubebundle,problemshadoccurredinothersteamgenerators inservice.Thedatafromtheinspection wasrecordedonmagnetictapeandalsoontwochannelstripchartrecorders withthefirst.recorderrecording flawdataandthesecondrecorderrecording dentdata.Theserecordings wereevaluated bythedataanalystandtheresultsrecordedonEddyCurrentExamination ReportSheets..TableI,below,summarizes theresultsofthisinspection.
TableIalsoliststhenumberoftubesinspected duringeachofthethreetestperiods,bothfromthehotandthecoldsides.Thisnumberdoesnotcoincidewiththecomparison tabletubecountlistedunder"TubesInspected" becuasenotalltubestestedpassthrough.theNumber9and10drilledsupportplates.Duringthisinspection, alltestingwascarriedoutfromthehotside.Theprobewasadvancedupthehotlegside,throughthe",U"bendanddownthecoldsidetoapointbelowtheNumber9coldsidesupportplate.Datawastherebycollected forboththehotlegandcoldlegsidesofthesupportplates.Theeddycurrenttestresultsindicatethatthe.existingdentsshowlittlechangeinmagnitude
