SUBJECT:

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION POTENTIALLY RELEVANT AND MATERIAL TO BOARD PROCEEDING IN THE MATTER OF MILLSTONE NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 3 In conformance with the Commissions policy on notification of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (ASLB) of new, relevant, and material information, this memorandum provides the information discussed below.

The attached notice was issued to announce a meeting on January 15, 2002, between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. (licensee) to present the results of the NRC inspection of the licensees investigation and search for two spent fuel rods unaccounted for at the spent fuel pool at Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1.

This information is being brought to the attention of the ASLB and all parties, as it may be relevant and material to issues pending before the ASLB.
