I am aware that the decibels being measured for these sirens meet the federal requirements, but it appears that additional sirens are going to be required throughout our county. I am requesting that FEMA and the NRC not accept this new siren notification system unless a commitment by Entergy is reached that they will provide additional decibel readings in remote areas of our county and a plan is submitted to rectify the situation, which could include installing additional sirens. I am also requesting that this decibel testing be performed when there are leaves on the trees.
