On July 12, 2006, Detroit Edison Company (the licensee) submitted an amendment request to modify Conditions, Required Actions, and Completion Times associated with the inoperability of one or more EDG in Technical Specification 3.8.1 for Fermi 2. By letter dated June 5, 2007, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, sent the licensee a request for additional information (RAI). On June 8, 2007, the licensee sent a draft response to the information requested by the NRC staff via electronic mail. This electronic mail also included draft proposed regulatory commitments.
