: Mike, This is a confirmation of our teleconference today where the NRC staff verbally approved a proposed alternative to the ASME Code to allow the performance of a preemptive full structural weld overlay on the pressurizer surge, spray, and safety line welds at Seabrook. The verbal approval was based on the FPLE letters dated July 3, 2007 and February 13, 2008.
