Jaczko, whose agency oversees commercial nuclear reactors and other civilian uses of radioactive materials, will discuss his regulatory agenda.
Now serving in his second term as an NRC Commissioner, Jaczko was selected as Chairman by President Obama on May 13. He was first nominated and confirmed to a seat on the Commission in 2005 and began serving a second term in 2008. As Chairman, Jaczko serves as the principal executive officer of the nearly 4,000-strong agency, and also serves as its official spokesman.
