FW: Clarification Needed on MPS2 SG Tube Inspection Report DNC staff, via a phone call on 06/30/2009, provided the necessary clarifying information to the questions below. The description in the original report was an error, and the information in the RAI response is correct. Also, R38C81 and R40C81, the tubes plugged based on their RAI response, were also stabilized.

Clarification Needed on MPS2 SG Tube Inspection Report Bill -

The technical reviewer on MPS2 SG tube inspection report needs some clarifications on your RAI response dated 05/20/2009 as noted below. Note, these are not new RAIs, we would just like to discuss these issues:

1. In RAI # 3 the reviewer assumed that the tube in R118C41 was plugged since their original report (10/24/08) indicates that one tube was plugged for an 11% through-wall indication from a part above the top of the tubesheet. The only indication that matches this description in table 3 of the original report is the tube in R118C41. In the RAI response you state that R38C81 and R40C81 were the tubes plugged in SG2, not R118C41.

Is the description in the original report an error and is the correct information in the RAI response?

2. The original report indicates that the 2 tubes in SG 2 that were plugged were also stabilized.

Does this mean that R38C81 and R40C81, the tubes plugged based on their RAI response, were also stabilized?
