By letter dated December 8, 2009, you requested the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) review and comment on Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Revision 2, Transportation Plan (TP) in support of the removal of the fuel during WPIs decommissioning of its nuclear reactor.
The NRC staff reviewed and concludes that the WPI transportation plan for a one time shipment provides reasonable assurance that the requirements in 10 CFR 73.67 (g) continues to be met and finds it acceptable.

By letter dated December 8, 2009, you requested the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) review and comment on Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Revision 2, Transportation Plan (TP) in support of the removal of the fuel during WPIs decommissioning of its nuclear reactor.
